Rachel is the Operations Director of Fictive Pursuits, the company behind Fabled Planet, The History Quill, and The Niche Reader. She lives in Essex, UK, with her husband, Ben.

Rachel joined Fictive Pursuits as a coordinator in 2020, after giving up a career in retail communications to pursue her dream of working in a role that revolved around books. She progressed to the role of Executive Editor of The History Quill in 2021, then Operations Director in 2022. In this role, Rachel oversees the running and development of Fictive Pursuits’ systems and services, and the management of our staff.

If Rachel were stranded on a desert island, the two fantasy novels she would want with her are The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling.
