Naomi is a copy-editor and proofreader living in Southampton, England, with her husband and three children. She graduated from Southampton University in 2006 with a first-class degree in English language and literature. In between editing and reading, she’s working on various writing projects, including a high fantasy novel set in a world without a sun, and also the beginnings of a dystopian sci-fi inspired by the recent lockdowns and the growing reliance on technology to replace human interaction.

If Naomi were stranded on a desert island, the two fantasy and/or science fiction novels she would want with her are The Lord of the Rings, because it’s a book she could read a hundred times and still not grow tired of, and something by the late great Sir Terry Pratchett, because she would need a good belly laugh from time to time.
